/About The CLD Trust

The CLD Trust has remained open throughout lockdown and beyond, supporting children and young people across Herefordshire. If you have an appointment, please come in as usual. If you need mental health support, we’re still here and ready to help!

The CLD Trust is a registered charitable trust and was established in 1994. Our counselling service is accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and we subscribe to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.   We also provide a range of services to schools, colleges and businesses.

Our counselling staff are all professionally trained and qualified and have significant experience and specialisms.  We are able to offer a variety of counselling therapy including brief sessional therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, specialist substance misuse and systemic family practice.
All professional staff receive regular case management and clinical supervision.

Services are provided from our offices in Hereford where we have a suite of therapy rooms and also in a variety of locations including schools and colleges, GP surgeries, community venues and businesses.

The Trust has a Board of Trustees whose wide variety of skills and expertise help us to continue to develop our services to meet the needs of people across Herefordshire and the surrounding areas.
